Scania Dealer Operating Standard (DOS):

ISO 9001 Standard:

A standard represents order and regulation. To standardize organizational management and ensure and improve product quality and customer satisfaction, the ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard was developed by the International Organization for Standardization and implemented in numerous manufacturing and service organizations.

ISO 10002 Standard:

The purpose of this international standard is to provide guidance for designing, planning, and implementing effective processes for handling customer complaints across commercial, non-commercial, and e-commerce activities. This standard ensures benefits for organizations, customers, complainants, and other stakeholders.

Customer Satisfaction Measurement (ISO 10004):

Customer satisfaction is a critical factor in organizational success. Therefore, monitoring and measuring customer satisfaction is essential. This standard provides guidelines for defining and implementing processes to monitor and measure customer satisfaction, applicable to all organizations.

Introduction to 5S Principles:

Scania Multi Software:

The Multi software, designed by Scania for its authorized after-sales service centers, aims to provide comprehensive general and technical information about Scania products. It includes detailed and accurate repair procedures for various components.

Organizational Behavior Management:

Organizational behavior involves the systematic study of the operations, tasks, and attitudes of individuals within an organization. Effective process management and utilization of critical resources contribute to achieving organizational goals.

Vehicle Reception Principles:

The responsibilities and characteristics of the reception staff include:

  • • Accurately and systematically determining vehicle reception and delivery times.
  • • Documenting details and avoiding reliance on memory.
  • • Maintaining consistent presence and responsiveness.
  • • Paying full attention to customer explanations and requests.

The purpose of this course is to train reception staff to provide optimal customer service.

Warehousing and Safety Principles:

This course covers modern warehousing principles, including order placement, coding, safe storage layout, loading and unloading procedures, and maintaining minimum parts inventory levels.

Heating and Cooling Systems:

This course covers the repair and maintenance of heating and cooling systems.

 

Differential (or Axle Gear):

The differential (or axle gear) transfers torque from the driveshaft to the drive wheels. It consists of a set of spiral gears, including the pinion and crown wheel gears. This training course covers the repair and maintenance of the differential and its components.

Cabin Electrical System (Multiplex):

This training course covers all electrical components of the cabin, including circuit boards and wiring diagrams.

Bodywork:

Bodywork refers to the repair and fabrication of damaged vehicle body and chassis components. The structure, manufacturing methods, and repair techniques for bus bodies and chassis differ from those of passenger cars. This course teaches body straightening and dent removal using Scania’s standard tools.

Braking and Retarder 1:

Brakes operate using air pressure and are divided into multiple circuits. This course covers reading air system diagrams, air connections, and the operation of older Scania bus retarder systems.

Braking and Retarder 2:

This course focuses on advanced troubleshooting of air brake systems and the operation and repair of Retarder Type 2.

Electrical Systems 1 and 2:

This course teaches technicians how to read Scania electrical diagrams and assemble basic electrical circuits, preparing them for advanced electrical training.

Electrical System 3:

This course covers schematic reading, analysis of electrical circuits, circuit boards, and CAN bus communications between circuits and boards. It complements Electrical Systems 1 and 2, and participants must have a strong grasp of the material from those courses.

Engine:

This course covers all components of 9, 12, and 13-liter engines. Practical training includes a complete engine overhaul and component repairs, with detailed explanations of engine parts and their functions.

Euro 4:

Following government mandates for Euro 4 emission standards, Oghab Afshan was the first heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer to upgrade its products from Euro 3 to Euro 4. This course thoroughly explains the XPI and DPF systems.

Fuel System:

This course analyzes the fuel system of buses, from the fuel tank suction via the feed pump to filtration and injection through the injector nozzles. It includes detailed training on injector adjustment and replacement.

Gearbox GR801:

This gearbox is used in vehicles equipped with the Opticruise system. The course covers the operation of gearbox shafts and components, the high-low range system, gear-shifting mechanisms, wiring diagrams, and comprehensive gearbox repair procedures.

 

Gearbox GR875:

This gearbox is designed for newer-generation vehicles. The course explains the operation of gearbox shafts, mechanisms, and the high-low range system in detail.

Painting:

This course provides comprehensive guidelines for painting various vehicle types manufactured by Oghab Afshan Company.

Roadside Assistance and Towing:

This course teaches the correct and professional methods for towing vehicles and providing roadside assistance to vehicles with technical issues.

Driver Training:

This course covers the proper use of vehicles and the performance of periodic maintenance. Participants are fully informed about the vehicle’s features and options.

Steering and Suspension:

This course generally covers the ELC system and its operation, followed by detailed explanations of height adjustment systems, controllers, solenoid valves, and suspension sensors. It also covers the steering system, front suspension, and their repair procedures.

Diagnostic Tool (VCI):

This course provides detailed instructions on diagnosing various vehicle systems by connecting the VCI to the vehicle. It includes guidelines for using the diagnostic software and calibrating vehicle systems.

Repair and Maintenance:

This course provides information on periodic vehicle maintenance, oil and filter replacement, and timely execution of running-in maintenance, in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
