Unveiling of Oghab Afshan Minibus Assembly Line

 

 

The assembly line of Oghab Afshan minibuses was unveiled and inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Masoud Karbasian, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance on February 06, 2018. Dr. Karbasian who headed a delegation consisting of deputy heads and general managers of Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, arrived in Semnan and visited different sections of the factory of Oghab Afshan Industrial and Manufacturing Company, including the new minibus assembly line.

“Operation of the minibus assembly line has created job opportunities for 150 persons”, said Mr. Abdollah Akbari Rad, the vice-chairman of the board of directors of Oghab Afshan Industrial and Manufacturing Company.

He added: “The manufactured products of the company are ready to be handed over. Oghab Afshan has the annual manufacture capacity of 1000 city and intercity minibuses. A sum of 250,000,000,000 Rials has been invested on the minibus assembly line. Oghab Afshan has created 400 new job opportunities in the current year named “Year of Resilient Economy, Production and Employment”. Numerous parts of the Oghab Afshan products are manufactured in the company’s factory. It should also be mentioned that a proportion of the Oghab Afshan products is exported to the neighboring countries through facilitation of export.”
