Oghab Afshan Industrial & Manufacturing Co. is the largest bus and coach manufacturer in the private sector of Iran. The company, with 60 years of experience in the production of different types of buses and coaches, has played a major role in the reconstruction and development of the public and road transportation. With about 1200 staff members, the factory is located in Semnan Industrial Estate in a 50 hectare piece of land.

The company has an annual production capacity of 3000 buses and coaches in 7 different types. A fundamental policy of the company is the development of the range of products to satisfy the customer needs.

The certificate of the quality management system ISO 9001:2008 besides the outstanding quality of the products has contributed to the market of the company's products to be extended beyond the borders of Iran. The Oghab-Scania buses and coaches are used in the transportation industry of several countries such as Turkmenistan, Iraq, Syria and Egypt.

One of the most significant achievements of the company is the attainment of the knowledge of the design and bodybuilding of diverse buses in compliance with international standards. This could not be achieved without the accurate planning and comprehensive perspective on the industry and its capacity.

 In 2011, the company managed to secure the highest share (44%) of the domestic bus market with the production of more than 1200 buses and coaches. In 2010, the company manufactured 17% of the Scania buses throughout the world.
