The discussion of the Republic of Azerbaijan with Oghab Afshan is in progress regarding the establishment of an assembly line of the Oghab Afshan buses in Azerbaijan.
Announcing the progress in the discussion with the Azeri side, Mr. Gholami, the Oghab Afshan’s export manager said, “The discussion with Sahil Babayev, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Economy, regarding the Oghab Afshan’s investment in establishment of a bus assembly line in the country continues and the Azerbaijan’s government is inclined to support such investment. The support includes the customs duty exemptions and governmental orders. Oghab Afshan, in cooperation with Scania, has prepared a comprehensive plan for development of the export markets in the post-sanction era, and the neighboring countries are given priority due to the geographical and cultural closeness.”
For this purpose, Oghab Afshan participated in Iran Project Exhibition in Baku and exhibited its products with Euro 4 emission rating suitable for the Azerbaijan’s market, which were widely welcomed by the transportation officials. Azerbaijan is regarded as one of the most appropriate markets for Iranian products, especially the ones complying with the international standards.
